We introduced "Favourite Interest," allowing users to highlight a passion they deeply connect with on their profile, instantly giving potential matches an engaging topic to start a conversation. This feature not only showcased their personality but also sparked easier, more genuine interactions.
Challenge
On dating apps, starting meaningful conversations can be tough. People often struggle to find common ground because at times profiles don't fully capture who they really are or what they genuinely care about.
My role
I led the end-to-end design process, collaborating closely with the product manager and content designer. I worked strategically to shape the MVP, ensuring alignment with the product roadmap. I also partnered with researchers and analysts to validate design decisions.
